CREATIVE DIRECTION + WEBSITE DESIGN + SITE ARCHITECTURE + WRITING
The website for a Christian nonprofit that equips pastors around the world who lack access to formal theological education.
A site like this has two audiences and two asks. Donors need to understand the need and be moved to fund it. Prospective teachers need to see the work clearly enough to go and do it. The same story has to carry both.
Built from the ground up — structure, copy, and visuals reconceived entirely — the site leads with photography because the work is more persuasive than any description of it: a teacher at a chalkboard in Ethiopia, pastors bent over open Bibles. Statistics are set large against blocks of color, the scale of the need stated plainly. Video runs throughout, because seeing a classroom in motion does what a still image can't.
The interface stays out of the way. A dark, minimal sidebar holds the navigation; the imagery fills the frame. The design's restraint is the point: when the work is this compelling, the site's job is to show it and get out of the way.
